Anthony Linguanti, Jr. — Shareholder
Tony began his career in the executive placement industry in Tampa in 1990. While associated with an international recruiting firm specializing in the temporary and permanent placement of accounting and financial professionals, Tony was responsible for managing many important facets of this multi-billion dollar firm's operations. In addition to interfacing with the company's many high profile Florida clients, he also oversaw the successful implementation of several satellite offices throughout the growing Tampa Bay region. In 2000, Tony launched his own very successful executive placement firm in Sarasota. He later merged this organization to form Taylor White in 2001. Through his leadership the Taylor White brand has come to include permanent, consulting, contract recruiting and temporary placement, the latter through AccountAbility Staffing. Tony is a graduate of Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida.
James N. Bassil — Shareholder
Jim has been an important part of the executive placement industry in the Tampa Bay area since 1986. First, he served as Director of Recruiting for a Big 4 Public Accounting firm, and later he transitioned to a Tampa based national search organization. Through these opportunities, Jim has perfected his skills in the placement of top accounting and financial professionals. His numerous placements make him a unique center of influence among the area's financial community. In 1991, Jim began his own highly successful executive placement firm, working with the finest companies throughout Florida, and the Southeast. In 2001, he merged this practice to form Taylor White. Jim has been an Auditor with a Big 4 firm and an Internal Auditor with a Fortune 500 Company. He is a graduate of Florida State University in Tallahassee and is a former Florida CPA.
Heather Ceresoli — Shareholder & COO
Heather started her career with Deloitte in their Tampa audit practice. During her 7 year tenure, her clients included both public and private clients, in an array of diverse industries. She then transitioned into financial management roles in private industry, with responsibilities encompassing commercial finance, financial systems innovation, process improvement and project management. She joined the permanent placement division of Taylor White in 2005. In 2010, she was named Principal & Chief Operating Officer, with responsibilities encompassing Permanent Placement, Consulting, Contract Recruiting, Sarbanes-Oxley & Attestation services, and Temporary Staffing, the latter through AccountAbility Staffing.
Heather earned a Master’s degree in both Accounting and Management Information Systems from the University of South Florida, and is an actively licensed CPA in the State of Florida. She remains committed to the local community, with Board of Director level positions within Goodwill Industries Suncoast and Corbett Preparatory School. She is a graduate of Leadership Tampa, Class of 2007.
Kim O'Brien — Principal
Kim began her career in public accounting, with a focus on both public and private companies, and industry expertise encompassing healthcare, manufacturing, agribusiness, telecommunications, retail, automotive, restaurant, and not-for-profit sectors. Kim transitioned out of public to accept the role of CFO for a large not-for-profit healthcare organization. During her tenure, she focused on leading all aspects of accounting operations, developing management reporting, implementing & updating financial policies and internal controls, and implementing systems. As a result of her efforts, she was recognized as 2008 CFO of the Year in the Not-for-Profit category by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. Joining Taylor White in 2008, she quickly demonstrated her passion for contract staffing within our Consulting Practice. Kim is excited to translate that knowledge and leadership to AccountAbility Staffing.
Kim received her Bachelor of Science Degree and fifth year requirements from the University of South Florida, and is a licensed CPA in the State of Florida. She is proud to be a lifetime member of the USF Alumni Association, as well as past Chair of the USF Accounting Circle Board and a member of the USF Lynn Pippenger’s School of Accountancy Advisory Council. She also serves on the Board as Treasurer for Gracepoint Wellness, a not-for-profit. Kim is a graduate of Leadership Tampa, Class of 2007.
Katie Halkett — Principal
Katie received her MBA and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Denver and joined PwC’s assurance practice in Denver upon graduation. A Florida native, Katie moved back to the Tampa Bay area in 2008 and joined EY’s Tampa office. Her client base while with the Big 4 firms encompassed public companies, private-equity backed entities, and privately-held companies, and spanned a variety of industries including manufacturing, retail, restaurant, and health care. After leaving public accounting, Katie transitioned into a corporate accounting role with a private-equity backed marketing services company in St. Petersburg.
Katie started with Taylor White in 2012 and leverages her prior experience to understand the specific needs and goals of both her clients and candidates. Katie leads search efforts for the Tampa Bay region south of St. Petersburg, to encompass Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, and the nearby areas, with responsibilities encompassing Permanent Placement, Consulting, and Temporary Staffing, the latter through AccountAbility Staffing. She is an actively licensed CPA in the State of Florida, and a graduate of the Leadership Tampa, Class of 2015.
Kristina Marrero — Recruiting Manager
Kristina holds her Bachelor’s degree in Management and Organizational Leadership. She has experience working at a multinational payment transaction and point-of-sale company, as an Accounting Analyst for their North America division. She also has experience in project management and ERP system implementations. Kristina leads the candidate recruiting efforts at AccountAbility Staffing, where she is able utilize her solid knowledge of transactional accounting to identify quality candidates for our clients in Tampa Bay. Kristina is a Tampa native and is an alumnus of St. Petersburg College.
Blair Greene — Recruiting Manager
Blair graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting. She passed the CPA exam and began her career in audit with Deloitte, serving in both the Charlotte and Tampa offices. Her client mix included private, public, not-for-profit, and governmental clients, in an array of industries including manufacturing, insurance, media, recruiting, and other industries. Blair made the transition to private industry, with tenure including financial reporting & controls oversight within a mid-market insurance agency, as well as a traditional analyst position with a financial services company. She brings valuable public and private accounting experience, but more importantly a passion for finding the perfect technical and cultural fit for both candidates and clients alike. After two years with Taylor White, Blair is now focusing her efforts on continuing to grow the AccountAbility division, committed to connecting top talent with temporary and lighter level direct hire needs.
Sarah Phillips — Senior Recruiter
Sarah graduated from Florida State University with her degree in Accounting and Marketing. She initially stepped into a role that utilized her Marketing background, and then transitioned into an internship in financial audit with a large, regional CPA firm, where she served clients in industries including distribution, professional services and insurance. She quickly learned that her true passion was helping others achieve success, and as such, Sarah joined our AccountAbility staffing team. In her position, she is able to leverage both her Marketing and Accounting background to help candidates in Tampa Bay find a job that aligns with their passion and experience.
Nicole MacRae — Senior Recruiter
Nicole comes to AccountAbility with over twenty-years of professional experience in Accounting. She has worked with several private and non-profit companies, for diverse industries including real estate, professional sports, financial planning, manufacturing and retail. She brings the benefit of real world accounting experience to give her insight into matching the right candidate to the right position. While originally a New Orleans native, she has made the Tampa Bay area her home. She received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of New Orleans.
Pierce Dean — Senior Recruiter
Pierce Dean graduated from Saint Leo University with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Accounting and Economics, and later completed his Master’s degree in Accounting. He spent time in industry, primarily in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on creation of weekly financial reports for executive management, and grant management & reporting. He was also instrumental in helping to implement a new ERP system, including creation of underlying processes and logs. Pierce has brought his passion for helping people to the team here at AccountAbility, and is motivated by guiding individuals down the path to successful careers.
